RISING HEROES: 3rd - 5th grade
This class adds in more strength, flexibility, and coordination. More challenging postures and sequencing will be incorporated into these classes. Breathing and visualization techniques to help with focus and centering will be introduced. Children will learn self-respect, respect for others, self-confidence, awareness and control through the practice of fun and challenging poses, partner and group poses, lots of yoga games, breathing. This class takes it up a level with the addition of beginner strength and cardio. Every other week, children will receive basic instruction in anatomy and strength with the use of body weight training, core strength, cardio, and proper posture. All while having fun of course.
Class is 1 hour and will be limited to 10 students
